When my 8-year-old son was defending, his move is slow and sometimes fall, so I bought a ladder for my son to do some training to increase speed, quickness, and agility.
After a 2-3 weeks trial, I’m surprised his agility is improved.
So I would like to share the training video that we did.
There are 15 ladder drills but I think it’s good to start with 2-3 drills for 5 min before soccer practice.
Our training menu is
No.1 One step x3 rep
No.7 Lateral In and Out x3 rep
No.13 Bunney Hops x 3 rep
It takes just 5-10min including a break.
