Presentation Preparation
Step5: Rehearsal
Step5 is a rehearsal.
Actually, this is not a mandatory step but an optional step. If we heard of “Rehearsal” we may think we are preparing for a big presentation with more than 100 attendees. And if this is true, we should do a rehearsal.
But even for a business presentation with less than 10 attendees, I still recommend doing a rehearsal. You don’t have to do a complete rehearsal to cover the first page to the last page, you can pick up a new slide that you will use for the first time. It only takes 5 minutes to explain a new slide a few times. Then you’ll be able to explain your slides more smoothly, and you may aware of the sentence that you don’t need or the sentence you need to add.
If you do this one time, the content was sophisticated and you don’t need to do a rehearsal again when you will use the slide.
The purpose of the rehearsal is to confirm the time required for the explanation and to confirm the wording.
