Learn Cold Reading from James Bond

Have you heard of “Cold reading”?

According to Wikipedia,

Cold reading is a set of techniques used by mentalists, psychics, fortune-tellers, and mediums.

It’s a mysterious word and may be used by magicians, spy-like FBI, CIA.

I read some books about cold reading and found some basic techniques which can be used.

Try to change the “But” to “because” or “and”.

You may start with “But” unintentionally as a habit.

Accept as much as possible.

When you like to say “but”, you can explain your intention in a positive way. Then a person will listen to you.
