First of all, this post is to organize my own thoughts rather than share something useful.
I read “Seven Habits of Highly Effective People” by Stephen Covey and learned the importance of time management. One of my takeaways is that I have to spend more time on important but not-urgent items.
In order to clarify what is important in my life, I made my mission statement. I try to balance my family, my work, and my own life. So there is a total of 9 statements which are 3 statements each for my family, my work, and my own life.

Love, listen and empathize with my family
Make my family happy
Enjoy family growth
For my work
Never give up and keep trying
Take advantage of our strengths and make up for our weaknesses
Create an environment where we enjoy working
For my own life
Enjoy lifelong learning
Stay healthy
Laugh a lot and don’t forget humor
